About the Role

Hottinger Brüel & Kaer (HBK) is seeking an experienced Deburring Technician to join our machine shop team in Chatsworth, CA. In this role, you will ensure materials and components are finished to blueprint specifications and meet strict quality standards.

You will work alongside skilled professionals in a global organization known for excellence in test, measurement, and data analytics technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform finishing operations according to engineering drawings, work travelers, and manufacturing procedures

Deburr and hand-finish metal parts to required specifications using approved tools and processes

Operate drill presses, vertical and horizontal cut-off saws, and standard deburring equipment

Use hand tools and precision instruments to meet quality requirements

Assist with distribution of maintenance supplies within the facility

Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards

Professional Qualifications

2–5 years of metal deburring or hand-finishing experience

Experience working in a machine shop environment

Knowledge of common machining concepts, practices, and procedures

High School Diploma or GED (technical school training is a plus)

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Personal Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong planning and organizational abilities

High level of precision and craftsmanship

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay range: $19.00 – $21.00 (based on experience and qualifications)

Four (4) weeks PTO for new hires
